Here is an update from Cal-Chambers:
On February 9, 2022, the Governor signed SB 114, bringing back the state’s COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave. Covered employees in the public or private sectors who work for employers with 26 or more employees are entitled to up to 80 hours of COVID-19-related sick leave, retroactively from January 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. Employers must start providing this new leave on February 19, 2022. With the signing of SB 114, the California Labor Commissioner's Office has issued a new required notice for covered employers to post and distribute to employees before February 19, 2022.
